Influenced by my mother's interest, I collected stamps as a child and teenager, but put my collection aside when other interests and time pressures intervened.   But, as is the case with many philatelists, I have taken it up again in my later middle-aged years with renewed vigor.  I collect US, UN, Postal Cards, and Guatemala.
